Cancellation & Refund Policy

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER

Please ensure all your order details are correct before submitting your order. Once your order is placed, we begin working on it immediately to ensure perfection and a timely delivery. 

Change requests within 2 hours of your order are can be accommodated. In some circumstances, if your order is placed in advance and is not yet in production, we may be able to accommodate a change or delay your order to a future delivery date.  

If your change request is accommodated, an additional change fee of $10.00 will be charged. Changes will only be made if the fee is paid and if the order is not already complete.

CHANGES TO DELIVERY/SHIPPING DETAILS

All changes to shipping or delivery details (including date, address, or method) must be submitted at least 4 days before the order due date. Requests made after this timeframe typically cannot be accommodated.

CHANGES TO QUANTITIES

You may increase your order quantities at any time.  A new invoice will be sent and payment must be made immediately to ensure timely production.  

Quantity reductions may be allowed up to 4 days before your order date. We cannot accommodate any reductions requested after this deadline.

CHANGES TO DESIGNS

Design changes are allowed up to 4 days before your order date. We cannot accommodate any design changes requested after this deadline.

CUSTOM ORDER PAYMENT POLICY

For custom orders, full payment of the total amount is required before production begins. Please be aware that your order will not be confirmed or processed until payment is received. If payment is not completed within the specified timeframe, your order may be cancelled. Our customer care team is available to assist with any billing questions you may have.

CANCELLATIONS

Every order is baked from scratch and customized specifically to your unique requests, including flavors, colors, designs, and quantities. As a result, once your order is complete, it cannot be repurposed, and we are unable to accommodate cancellations or refunds.

If your order is partially complete at the time of your cancellation request, we may be able to offer a partial refund. This will depend entirely on the production status, regardless of the timeframe. 

REFUND POLICY

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to control how they are transported or stored after leaving our bakery. As a result, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or provide refunds.

WRONG ADDRESS

If delivery information is given incorrect or incomplete, which results in a delay or failed-delivery, the order will not be eligible for any refunds and replacement or redelivery fees will apply. 

QUALITY

JAZZ NOTES CREAMERY PASTRY SHOP takes great pride in the quality of our products, but we cannot offer refunds for personal preferences or dissatisfaction in taste or aesthetics.

MISSING ITEMS

If there was an error on our part and product is missing from your order, contact us immediately upon receiving your order. We will make every effort to replace or credit the missing items. 

DAMAGED ITEMS

If your product arrives broken or damaged, contact us immediately upon receiving your order and provide photos of the product and packaging. We will make every effort to address your concerns and make sure you are happy with your JAZZ NOTES CREAMERY PASTRY SHOP's product. 

  • JAZZ NOTES CREAMERY PASTRY SHOP requires evidence of ALL damaged items.  Photos of every product piece with damage must be sent within 1-2 days of delivery. Any claims submitted after 2 DAYS of receipt, or without proper photos, will not be considered for replacement or credit.

  • JAZZ NOTES CREAMERY PASTRY SHOP is not responsible for cosmetic damage in the packaging or product (scratches, dents, etc.).

  • The customer does not need to ship perishable items back to Sweet E’s (unless indicated otherwise).

Too Late to File

  • JAZZ NOTES CREAMERY PASTRY SHOP will deny any claims filed outside of these timelines:

    • Local LA Delivery - claims must be filed within 24 hours of delivery.

    • Nationwide shipments - claims must be filed within 2 DAYS of delivery.

    •  ORDERS PICKED UP BY THE CUSTOMER AT JAZZ NOTES CREAMERY PASTRY SHOP mobile dessert truck:

Once your order leaves our bakery, JAZZ NOTES CREAMERY PASTRY SHOP will not be held responsible for any damages that may occur and no refunds or replacements will be offered. 

ORDERS HAND DELIVERED BY JAZZ NOTES CREAMERY PASTRY SHOP DELIVERY SERVICE

Once your order is delivered to you successfully, JAZZ NOTES CREAMERY PASTRY SHOP will not be held responsible for any damages that may occur past that point and no refunds or replacements will be offered.

ORDERS SHIPPED NATIONWIDE

For nationwide shipment orders, we use third party shipping carriers (UPS & Fed Ex). Once your order leaves our bakery, there are factors out of our control that may occur and cause a delay in delivery. In these cases we are unable to offer a refund. 

Delayed Shipments

  • Carriers may experience delays due to weather, mechanical errors, or natural disasters. If your order is delayed for any carrier related reason, Sweet E's will not be held responsible.

  • Carriers will update their website with expected delays due to inclement weather or other barriers to expected delivery.

  • If the customer paid for expedited shipping but the package arrives outside of the expected window, JAZZ NOTES CREAMERY PASTRY SHOP will not be held responsible.

Packages Labeled "Return to Sender"

  • JAZZ NOTES CREAMERY PASTRY SHOP will not be held responsible for packages labeled return to sender when a customer provides an invalid or undeliverable address or refuses a delivery or if the package gets lost in-transit and then returned to sender due to a carrier error.

Orders Stuck in Customs:

  • JAZZ NOTES CREAMERY PASTRY SHOP will not be held responsible when a customer’s order is stuck in international borders/customs.

  • It will be the customer’s responsibility to pay the customs fees and take any necessary steps in order to receive the package or place a reorder due to the perishable nature of the product.​
